Description

Details

For over a quarter-century, the Leelanau Conservancy has focused on preserving the places that define Leelanau: majestic landscapes, sensitive wetlands, productive farmland, and pristine lakes and streams. In 2011, the Conservancy commissioned Ken Scott to capture, through his lens, the essence of Conservancy protected lands over a two year period. Fifty stuffing photographs and seven essays give the reader a glimpse of some of these areas, so important to preserving Leelanau's unique sense of place.
